Legal
Privacy.
This privacy policy describes how Ember Intelligence LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Ember," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Ember service, including the Ember MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector for Microsoft 365.
Information we collect
When you connect Ember to external services, we request OAuth authorization tokens. These tokens are stored securely and are used solely to authenticate requests on your behalf. We do not collect or persistently store the content of documents or data accessed through these connections — that data is processed in real time to fulfill your requests and is not retained after the response is returned.
We may collect basic usage metadata (such as error logs and request counts) for the purpose of operating and improving the service. This metadata does not include the content of your personal data.
How we use your information
We use the information described above only to provide and maintain the Ember service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Data retention
OAuth tokens are retained only while your connection to Ember is active. You may revoke access at any time through your Microsoft account's connected app settings, which will cause us to delete associated tokens.
Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encrypted storage and transport for OAuth credentials.
Children
Ember is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Ember service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
